Ways to donate
Objectives
 
1.  To establish, facilitate and promote communication amongst children in various urban an rural areas on the issues of HIV\AIDS, poverty, child development, childrens rights and education among 1000 children by 2011.
 
2.  To equip 1000 children and young people in difficult circumstances with relevant vocational skills and essential entrepreneur skills needed to encourage them to engage in their own sustainable income generating activities by 2011.
 
Implementation Strategy
 
1.  Establishment of an internet cafe for use by the public, during school hours, to fund the cenre activities.  During non school hours it will be used by children for training in computer skills and education purposes.
 
2.  Vocational training geared toward the development of marketable skills.
 
3.  A lending Library, offering school books, other educational materials and light reading for the organizations target population of orphaned and vulnerable children, young people and not forgetting the widows.
 
4.  Tutoring and study circles.
 
5.  To offer meals, washing facilities, clothing and blankets from gifts\donations.
 
6.  Payment of school fees for orphaned children.
 
7.  Provide a Bi-monthly clinic, offering free medical checkup by volunteer medical professionals for our target groups.
 
8.  A school uniform program that will include sewing, mending, washing and ironing.
 
9.  A Scolarship program that will cater for those who have excelled well in their academics.
 
10. Sports an recreation to provide equipment and organize games as a platyform for the dialogue between children from various urban and rural areas.
 
11. To link them with other children around the globe, of their age, to be their pen pals.


Activities at the centre
 
1. Kids come to the centre after school and get lunch.
 
2.  Kids are kept in one place, they get their breakfast, lunch and supper at the centre including their bedding.
 
3.They will do various activities depending on their talent\interest, some will be doing computers, others sewing, others coming for library books etc.
 
4. Toddlers will need toys.
 
5.  Volunteers will be recruited to help with study and tutorial programms. 
Desired Outcomes
 
1.  Children, young people and widows with vocational skills which they will use for their own survival and earn a living from.
 
2.  Increased sustainable livelihoods, opportunities and self confidence.
 
3.  Ability to work effectively to exercise new skills.
 
4.  Ability to seek initial capital and logistical support to begin a new and comprehensive way of living.
 
5.  Children, young people and widows more aware of themselves and others and know how to reflect on their situation and feelings and express their opinions clearly.
 
6.  Children, young people and widows who are culturally aware lead and have the ability to work on their own.
 
7.  Accept criticism and build up good relationships with people of different ideals, seek solidarity with other vulnerable groups.
 
8.  The broad outcome for the project is to positively change lives.
